Had such a great experience here! Our server Leihala was amazing—super friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, the vibe was just right, and we even caught some fireworks while we were there! Definitely recommend this spot. Will be back!

Came for the Wednesday night fried chicken and champagne special and was pleasantly surprised! They give each person half a chicken and a nice sized salad which was more than enough food along with a very nice champagne pairing. There was a special that night that allowed us to upgrade to Bollinger with a caviar bump for 5 per person. Service and atmosphere were great! All of this made for a fun special occasion shared with good friends.

We had an unbelievable dinner here last night. This is the kind of food you’d find in a Michelin star restaurant in Paris. For 85, the prefix menu is actually a good deal - we were stuffed by the end - but they get you on the cocktails (25 each!). That said, everything we ordered was amazing, including the cocktails which were unique and had amazing flavors. Our only complaint is that before the sun goes down the sunshades make it quite hot inside the restaurant. They had fans going but they need more ventilation. Once they opened the shades (a little before 7) it cooled off. In terms of food, we had the tuna and frog legs to start. The tuna was perfectly seared and sitting on green curry that was fabulous. The frog legs were brined and falling off the bone. Then we had the veal Milanese which was cooked perfectly and the smoked Kona Kanpachi, which was crispy and flakey at the same time and served with a creamy caviar sauce. For dessert we had the gateau isbahan which is not done the classic way (with a macaron base) but was beautifully flavored with hints of rose and the basque cheese cake which had a savory undertone from the goat cheese. Even the bread to start (focaccia toasted with cheese and cheese courgettes) were unbelievable. We are considering going back before we leave!

Had breakfast here and it was far better than expected!!! The view is great as it faces Waikiki beach and we thought that would be it but the food was very good. The signature Lemon pancakes (I know it didn't sound great to me either) were a must have. Absolutely devoured them. Great combo of flavors and great presentation. Went with poached eggs as well. That is always hit or miss at restaurants but they were done perfectly. Lastly we had the avocado toast which was nicely put together. Presentation was really well done for every dish. Service was really good as well even as they were setting up for a party if 30 that was rolling in. Reasonably priced for Honolulu and will have breakfast there again during our stay.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Terrace Restaurant. The service was truly impeccable—attentive, warm, and thoughtful, especially with kids. They even brought out a book for us, which was such a kind touch. Our server was fantastic, making the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. The view during sunset was absolutely stunning, making for a perfect, relaxing atmosphere. After a long day and feeling exhausted from our travels, this dinner was exactly what we needed—great food, great service, and a peaceful setting.

Absolutely beautiful evening. Came here for my birthday dinner and everything was so delicious. They printed out a special menu for me with happy birthday wishes. The views were beautiful, live music was great, and the service was amazing. I was very impressed with the quality of each dish we ordered. The portions were a little on the big side and I felt bad not being able to finish the delicious meal. The drinks were also really yummy. We really enjoyed our meal here.

The 3 courses set menu is more than enough as a dinner. The food is delicious and presented nicely. Love the appetizer-curry avocado, very innovative. The dessert is creative: chocolate yam mochi, chocolate tastes good, but not really matching the yam that well. Anyway, appreciate the creativity.

Every part of our experience at La Vie was top notch. The open restaurant with a beautiful view of the ocean and cool breezes was a lovely place to celebrate our anniversary. The service was stellar, as expected at a restaurant of this caliber. They were able to accommodate my gluten free needs and were very knowledgeable about each item. Most of the seafood price fix was already gluten free, but they were willing to make other substitutions if I desired. (Not need though.) Our 5 course price fix was simply divine. Each bite had complex and robust flavors, and the presentation was always beautiful. The perfect amount of food to be satisfied but not overly stuffed. We loved the unique drinks from the bar too. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town! Highly recommend.
